Comprehensive Skin Analysis
We begin with a Visia Complexion Analysis or thorough visual assessment to map your pigmentation, vascular, and texture concerns. Your Fitzpatrick skin type is confirmed to ensure safe parameter selection. This consultation is always complimentary.
Pre-Treatment Protocol
For optimal results, we may recommend a brief pre-treatment regimen including SPF diligence and avoidance of self-tanner for 2 weeks prior. Certain medications (Accutane, photosensitizers) must be disclosed and may affect scheduling.
Treatment Day
A cooling gel is applied to the treatment area. You'll wear protective eyewear throughout. The BBL handpiece is passed across the skin in a precise grid pattern — each flash feels like a brief, warm snap. The full face takes 15–30 minutes.
Immediately After
Expect mild redness and warmth — similar to a light sunburn — for 1–4 hours. Pigmented spots will temporarily darken (this is correct and expected) before rising to the surface and naturally shedding over 7–14 days. Vascular lesions fade more gradually.
Results & Maintenance
Most clients see significant improvement after 1–3 sessions, spaced 4–6 weeks apart. For Forever Young anti-aging benefits, we recommend 2–4 annual sessions as ongoing maintenance. Members receive priority scheduling and discounted series pricing.
